The ACHI Alumni Association

After completing the ACHI programme, participants become part of the ACHI alumni network, a growing community of young professionals passionate about horticulture and entrepreneurship. Joining the alumni network means staying connected, learning from each other, and continuing to grow. Alumni gain access to new opportunities, including:

Training refreshers and workshops
Network opportunities
Visibility through the ACHI platform

Moreover, the alumni become part of the broader ACHI network, which includes lead farmers, trainers, and partners. This extended network encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

To help shape and organise alumni activities, the ACHI Alumni Association was established. It is led by a board of alumni representatives, elected from different programme batches. These representatives take initiative, organise activities, and pitch new ideas to the supporting ACHI Alumni Association committee, which consists of ACHI staff members

Rollande’s journey

Fourteen years ago, Rollande and her sister started farming. Over the past years, they turned three acres of land into their primary source of income supporting her family and putting her son though university. Joining ACHI was a game-changer by learning the skills to improve her practices – including selling her crops per kilo for the first time.

Vivian is balancing a full-time HR career with her passion for mushroom farming. During ACHI, she gained the skills to plan her farming activities strategically, optimizes the production, and created innovative products resulting in supplements and the mushroom tea.
